Patna: After the recent setback for Mahagatbandhan in the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, family trouble in the Lalu Prasad Yadav's family escalated after the explosive statements of Rohini Acharya.

Lalu Yadav's daughter Rohini Acharya in her series of social media post made some shocking revelations about her brother Tejashwi Yadav. After the recent family fued, Rohini Acharya has reportedly distanced herself from her family as well as the party.

Recently, a video of Rohini Acharya surfaced on the social media platform X, that showcased Rohini speaking to a journalist over phone. In the video, Rohini accused her brother Tejashwi of avoiding responsibility during tough time. She was heard saying, “Jab kidney dene ki bari aai, toh beta bhag gaya.”

What allegations Rohini made against Tejashwi Yadav?

Accusing her brother Tejashwi Yadav, Rohini Acharya said, “Jab kidney dene ki bari aai, toh beta bhag gaya.” Meanwhile, Rohini also criticized media persons who troll her online and questioned their morality and commitment. Talking about the same, she said, “Those who can’t even donate a bottle of blood are giving lessons on kidney donations.”

What Rohini said about kidney donations issue?

Rohini talking about the kidney donation issue in her social media video, said, “Those who want to do something in Lalu Ji’s name should stop showing false sympathy and instead come forward to donate kidneys to the millions of poor people in hospitals who are waiting for it. They should also dare to debate openly with the daughter who donated her kidney to her father, instead of criticizing her.”

It is to be mentioned here that Rohini had earlier donated a kidney to her father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, which brought her a recognition as the “daughter who gave her kidney.” Meanwhile, she also spoke at length and came in support to her brother Tej Pratap Yadav in the past.

What is the issue in Lalu Yadav's family? 

It is to be mentioned here that on November 16, 2025, Rohini took to her social media X and announced her withdrawal from politics as well as her break from her family. After Rohini's post, several political leaders also spoke about the internal conflicts within the Lalu Yadav's family.
